Charm++ parallel programming system

Hi Gengbin,

Lets say that I have a parameter DEBUGLB, which I would use for constructions like #ifdef #else #endif. I would like to pass this parameter in compilation time (-DDEBUGLB=1).

Is there a way simple way to inform this when I am compiling Charm++ with my load balancer? I know I can use make depends, compile my LB, and then make charm++, but it would be nice if I could avoid having to compile my LB directly.

 I am not sure what exactly you mean "flag". You mean you want to
create dependence file for a specific load balancer?
Yes, I think you already mentioned it. For a load balancer MyLB, you
write a file named libmoduleMyLB.dep, which contains special link time
command line specific to this load balancer.
