It should work with gcc compiler. Try this:

module swap PrgEnv-cray PrgEnv-gnu
module load craype-hugepages8M
./build charm++ gni-crayxe   -j16  --with-production

Hello,

I am having trouble building charm++ on Blue Waters. I am fairly new to the 
system so I am not familiar with many of the modules. What modules should I 
load, and what is the best build line? I have in the past tried loading 
craype-hugepages8M and building with ./build charm++ gni-crayxe -j16 
—with-production, with no success. Your help is much appreciated!
