I was browsing your "Pattern Almanac" book that I borrowed from a coworker and I couldn't find what I was looking for.  Do you happen to have any references to patterns involving data validation?  What I'm looking for is any other patterns that might be similar to the "Verdict" informational pattern discussed in the document http://www.macqueen.us/smalltalkReport/ST/ST05/04ki.pdf but with more information about how an external entity might match up a validation error with where in a large hierarchy the error occurred.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
