Greetings,
We would like to invite you join us as an editorial member (an advisory board member, editorial board member, external reviewer, and associate editor or/and columnist) of The Journal of Software Patterns (JSP), JSR, JSA, and/or JTO.
The Advisory Board consists of 10–15 individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to each of the journals, its mission, and its standards. Their role is to plan the editorial direction of each of the journals, serve as advisors to the editor, assist with the solicitation of research articles and perspectives, promote the journals, review theme issues proposal, and vote on the selection of the best papers to be awarded.
The editorial board is responsible for putting together each of the journals. The Editorial Board
consists of approximately 20-25 individuals who are committed to the search for high-quality research suitable for publication in each of the journals. These individuals, working with the editor to achieve journal objectives, execute the editorial direction of the journal, contribute and encourage others to contribute articles, publicize for the journal, review articles and theme issues, and assess the quality, relevance, and readability of individual articles. Additionally, members of the Editorial Board vote on the selection of the best papers.
External Reviewers are responsible for conducting peer reviews effectively and in a timely manner, the editor may reach beyond the Editorial Board to request reviews from other individuals who have demonstrated their expertise and ability to assess correctness, quality, and relevance of individual research articles in their areas of expertise.
Associate editors/columnists edit and proofread a high volume of journal columns and write position papers and/or columns pieces. They are responsible for spelling, grammar, AP style, accuracy, taste, consistency and clarity.
Board members' names are posted part of the Journal, the journal website, and part of the Journal publicity. To join as an editorial member of one or more roles, please e-mail your roles, your complete contact information and your biography (or a webpage) to Dr. M.E.
