Folks,

a couple of months ago Neil Harrison successfully defended his PhD thesis. It is one of the very few pieces of scholarly research work in the field of patterns. I thought you might be interested in taking a look

Bibliographic metadata is here http://catalogue.rug.nl/DB=1/SET=1/TTL=2/CLK?IKT=12&TRM=333244079

It's also evidence that industrial practice and academic rigor can be combined :-)

Thanks,

Paris
