There has been some discussion on these at times. I know there are a couple of patterns that some have said would be nice addition including some of the GoF that I've dialoged with about them such as properties, type object, null object. Also, some patterns such as Singleton get abused and then there is flyweight that is more memory specific. Also, some patterns can be more language specific as well.
