I was just curious if safecode was planning on being updated for
LLVM 3.1 and if so when we might expect that? Doesn't seem like a
lot of changes need to take place but some seem, at a glance, to
be non-trivial. Basically, I'd rather not have to dive into that
code if I don't have to, so I'm just curious. Sorry for the late reply. We haven't set a concrete date for updating to LLVM 3.1 or LLVM mainline. However, I'm open to the idea of updating SAFECode to LLVM 3.1 or LLVM mainline some time during the summer. Do you have a particular need to use SAFECode with a newer version of LLVM? Is it for the improved C++ support in Clang, or is there another reason? -- John T. |
